In The Trenches

In The Trenches is a podcast that exists to equip and encourage ordinary church planters & pastors to make disciples in hard places. 

We aren’t “experts” and we don’t claim to have all the answers. We are practitioners inviting you along as we share with you the things God is teaching us through our victories and our mistakes.

We talk all things “ministry” with a special focus on church planting. Discipleship, evangelism, pastoral leadership, leadership development, doctrine, church planting, missions, and more are some of the items we discuss!

Jared Huntley

Jared was born and raised in Texas and served in the US Army for 6 years. Jared served as a youth pastor in Texas and in 2015 he and his wife, Jen, moved to Oshawa, Ontario to plant Fellowship Oshawa. In 2019, he moved to Washington, D.C. to plant Pillar Church of Washington, D.C. Jared loves reading about theology, playing and watching sports, exercising, playing board games, and going out to eat. He has been married to Jen, his best friend, since 2014.

Logan Douglas

Logan Douglas was born and raised in Mississippi and served in the US Army for 12 years. Logan has also served as a Young Adult Pastor in Mississippi, a Church Planting Resident in Virginia, and now he serves with The Iceland Project as a Missionary Church Planter in Iceland. He is married to Carla and they both enjoy movies, game nights, and naps.
